Receiver Does Not Connect To OBS


The receiver fails to connect to OBS.


OBS connection issues can stem from one or more of the following items:

  • The WebSocket extension is missing, corrupted, outdated, or did not install correctly.  Try re-installing the WebSocket extension.
  • Anti-virus, Windows Firewall, or other firewall/security software is blocking the connection to the OBS WebSocket extension.  Disable the software or add exceptions to allow the WebSocket connection.
  • The WebSocket port and password values in the receiver options do not match the OBS WebSocket settings.
  • Try running the Lioranboard receiver application as administrator.
  • Check/Uncheck the "Non blocking Connection" checkbox in the receiver options.
